Patanjali is one of the big Indian brand competing against the multinational companies today. It advertises its products as natural and symbolizes purity. Now the news or rumour is surfacing on the social media that Baba Ramdev has come up with a Restaurant named 'Postik' located in Hotel Indiano in Chandigarh.
But the report in the indian express says that while the restaurant does have Patanjali’s logo on its entrance and menu, but it is not an initiative of Patanjali Ayurveda Ltd., Ramdev’s FMCG company.
The restaurant is independently owned by Rajpal Singh and Jaspal Singh, both followers of Baba Ramdev. The owner of Postik Restaurant in Chandigarh has clarified that, "The restaurant is not Ramdev's, we were only using Patanjali products". It also carries pictures of Baba Ramdev and Patanjali’s Managing Director Balakrishna on the walls.
The restaurant claims to offer a healthy menu, it does not use artificial flavours or unhealthy ingredients like maida or synthetic sweeteners. The menu also has health tips for its customers.
The restaurant will be serving 100% vegetarian food and is set up in Zirakpur area.
